Hopelessly geeky (May 11, 2003)

I love my iPod. I’d long ago noticed that its alphabetic sort puts bands with “The” in their appropriate place; i.e., “The Beatles” sort into the Bs. Good. But I didn’t realize until yesterday that it does the same thing with “Los.” Yep, Los Straightjackets are in the Ss.

Interestingly, though, iTunes seems to have left Los in the Ls. (Example: Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, who are not currently in rotation on my iPod.)

I really love my new iPod. Yepyep. It's my first piece of Apple hardware ever. The design and formfactor won me over.
