Inner voice (November 09, 2004)

My pal Jamie’s doing a music exchange — burn a CD with your favorite songs of all time on it, send it to everyone on the list, you know the drill. In one of those fleeting moments of personal revelation I sometimes indulge in, here’s mine. (Yeah, that’s a pretty weak excuse for personal revelation.)

David Bowie: Ziggy Stardust
Men They Couldn’t Hang: A Place in the Sun
Aimee Mann: I’ve Had It
Sugar: If I Can’t Change Your Mind
Sam Phillips: Gimme Some Truth
Blake Babies: I Wanna Be Sedated
Richard & Linda Thompson: Walking On A Wire
Lou Reed: White Light / White Heat
Love & Rockets: Kundalini Express
Fairport Convention: Genesis Hall
Husker Du: Ice Cold Ice
Neil Young: Hey Hey, My My (Into The Black)
Drive By Truckers: Let There Be Rock
Bill Hicks: Rockers Against Drugs Suck

Bob Dylan: Isis
X: Sex And Dying In High Society
