Blah.
To my infinite annoyance (and resigned acceptance), I find that I am unable to attend FanTasia this year in the manner I had hoped. We have a product launch the second week of the festival, and I can neither be out the week before that launch or the week after.
I may be able to make a long weekend of it again. I’m a touch dejected just now. We’ll see what the schedule looks like.

You wonder about Patricia Chandler? I stumbled upon your query one rainy afternoon noodling around on my computer. I don’t know where she is or whatever became of her after our divorce in 1954. However, if you’re in New York, you might try contacting Lucy Wood, a Columbia University anthropologist graduate — 1954 (?) If Patricia stayed in contact with anybody, it would have been she. I had some contact with her father when he was incarcerated at Lewisburg Federal Penitentiary and found him a completely unsympathetic character — and he found me the same. It is possible that Patricia’s mental health was shaky, or at least it seemed to me to be so at the time.
