George Axelrod passed away Saturday. As big Hollywood names go, his wasn’t that big. Still, he wrote Breakfast at Tiffany’s and The Manchurian Candidate and the original play Seven Year Itch. So, yeah, let’s recognize.
It's where I talk to myself. Gaming, politics, and links I don't want to forget about.

My long-dead (35 years) late uncle taught George Axelrod at the Hill School when he was a teenager. Is somebody out there writing a biography of George Axelrod?
Not as far as I know, but it seems like it might be an interesting life to write a bio on.
I new George Axelrod very well and often talked of his early days at Hill School. If you have any information you would like to discuss I would be more than happy to talk to you about it. Please e-mail me at tlcoco@aol.com
Hi – I am a writer/producer developing a film that features a Marilyn Monroe character from the time she was making Seven Year Itch. If there is any way to contact Mr. Axelrod’s survivors (Lynne and Nina?) I am eager to do so. Julius Avedon (itchthemovie@gmail.com)
