5/2/2020: Mauvais Sang (1986): *****
Delirious pandemic neo-noir. Leos Carax has no fear with a camera in his hands. It’s hard to believe this was his second movie. He takes risks, he films fight scenes through opaque glass, he lingers on awkward close-ups, he just does whatever the hell he needs to do.
