7/5/2022: The River’s Edge (1957): **
Fairly weak all the way through, wasting a solid Anthony Quinn performance. At one point the cops are confused about everyone’s motivations, and you really can’t blame them. Some lovely shots of Mexico scenery don’t make up for much. And what was that ending?
